Where do I begin? Probably from before I began my official tutoring. After my first conversation with the center I felt the friendly atmosphere. I'm not a scholar. I am a product of the public school system and it was less than a gratifying experience for me. I don't want that life for my child. I enrolled my child in the weekly program and in less than 9 months he was evaluated above one year grade level than his current grade. His reading is amazing. It is quicker and he enjoys it . He counts faster. He loves working with his teachers. I started him young. You should to.
Standardized Test
My son never did well on standardized test5s. I wish I would have taken him to Huntington much earlier, but never realized his need as he always was an A/B student. The ACT scared us since his future depended on the score. His practice test proved his need so we enrolled for 12 hours each week and his scored improved by 5 points in two months. He will now have a better chance at the college of his choice! Thanks to Linda and the wonderful staff that helped him.
