In-Person & Online Tutoring - Park Ridge, IL

The Huntington Learning Center has been an established, active, and thriving business in the Park Ridge, IL community for over 30 years. Originally located at Devon and Cumberland, we soon transitioned to a larger facility on Busse Highway 20 years ago. The center is owned by Patricia Cowles. As a young mother, Patricia experienced, firsthand, the academic struggles that her own child faced in school This experience prompted Ms. Cowles to seek a business that would help children succeed in school. The Huntington Learning Center was the perfect choice.

Our center is located on Busse Highway, across from the Village Green Shopping Center and a half block away from the Burger King. Kiko’s, a long-time Park Ridge florist, recently became our new neighbor after moving from Northwest Highway to Busse Highway.

Our center proudly serves the residents of Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, Morton Grove and the northwest side of the city of Chicago.

We are proud to be accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

The center today has grown to employ a dedicated and committed staff of over 25 tutors. Ms. Pam Potter is our scheduler and all around administrative assistant. Mr. Joe Schill, who has worked for Huntington for over 25 years, is the Managing Director. Ms. Pat Schuler is our Exam Prep Coordinator and Mr. Danny Cast is the Assistant Director. Working together as a team, our goal is to give each of our students the best education possible.

Our center, active in the community, supports local sports teams and organizations, works closely with local schools and has conducted many parent workshops through local school PTA’s, PTO’s and other Home-School organizations. Our most popular workshop is entitled, “Homework: A Parent’s Survival Guide”. If you are interested in scheduling this workshop at your school please contact Mr. Joe Schill directly at 847-825-0692.
