With this idea in mind, Huntington Learning Center started in 1977 as the very first after school learning center in the United States. Our newest center, in North Scottsdale, opened in May 2022 and is led by Owner and Center Director, Frank Pyles. Our mission is to serve local families with children through personalized instruction to meet your child’s unique needs.
We offer K-12 tutoring in:

Arizona specific state assessments we offer include:
- Arizona Academic Standards Assessment (AASA)
- Arizona Science Test (AzSCI)
- Arizona English Language Learner Assessment (AZELLA)
For all sudents we will use Huntington’s proven evaluation method to design an individualized program for your child. Our certified teachers are prepared to instruct your child using Huntington’s professionally researched and teacher-evaluated curriculum. We engage in regular school visits and teacher meetings to ensure that all improvements we see in Center effectively translate into success in the classroom. With flexible and convenient after-school, weekend, summer, and winter academic hours, we are here to accommodate your schedule, not the other way around.
